FLIGHT DECK 5K
What a fantastic, one-of-a-kind way to run around an airport while the runway is active. You will have an opportunity to see planes taking off and landing! The 5k starts at the College of Albemarle entrance to the airport, follows a taxiway to the service road that goes around the runway and by the hangars out to a trail to the finish line. This is a true 5k at 3.1 miles. 5k star
TARMAC 10K
The Tarmac 10k is a multi-terrain course that utilizes a mix of the airport and the County's adjoining property. The race starts and finishes at the College of the Albemarle entrance to the runway. While flat, this is a challenging course but beautiful scenery. Starts at 8:30 a.m.

ONE MILE TAXI TROT -- FUN RUN
The 1 mile Taxi Trot is dedicated to our runners 12 years and younger BUT anyone can run/walk it. Dogs are welcome. Earn your wings on the taxiway of the airport. This event starts in conjunction with the beginning of the Annual Planes and Plows event, which is free and open to the public.
